Job Description:

    • 1) Tends machine that drills airhole in shank of smoking pipe to connect shank hole to bowl chamber: Clamps smoking pipe bowl in jaws of holding device and starts machine.
    • 2) Pulls handle of drill that automatically releases drilling tool into center of shank to bore hole through shank into base of bowl chamber.
  • 3) Removes bowl from clamp after drilling tool automatically stops and holds shank against sanding wheel to face shank for stem fitting.
