Job Description:

    • 1) Examines detail, layout, and master drawings of either auto-body or chassis parts, assemblies, and systems, for practicality of design, accuracy of mathematical calculations, dimensional accuracy, projection, and conformity to specifications and standards, using computerized work aids.

 

    • 2) Applies knowledge of auto-body and chassis design, methods of manufacture and assembly, and drafting techniques and procedures.

 

  • 3) Discusses necessary changes with staff members and coordinates corrections.
