Job Description:

    • 1) Tends aerial tramway to convey refuse, coal, ore, and other materials from plant or mine to spoil pile, conveyor, railroad car, boat, or plant: Pushes buttons to start reel and winding cable, causing tram buckets to move between loading and dumping areas.
    • 2) Pulls levers to position buckets for loading and pushes button to dump load, or observes signal panel and listens for malfunction of automatic dumping equipment.
    • 3) Lubricates and repairs machinery.
  • 4) May remove or replace buckets.
